The whole lock is 9.4cm (3.7") long. The latch part is 7.2cm (2.8") wide and 2.2cm (0.9") thick. There's a 2cm (0.8") gap between the lock and latch which fits a wider fridge door seal gap.

Unfortunately, this lock is specifically designed for use on a refrigerator only. You can check out other safety locks that are applicable on cabinets or drawers here.
Can I remove the safety lock without damage?
Yes, it's removable with no damage. It's adhered by a 3M sticky back, you can use a hairdryer to heat up the surface and remove it with dental floss.
